Siobhon Luckie"
Siobhon has been in the limelight for over a decade, working regularly with Marie Clare main fashion, Next, and other major players. Siobhon discovered her love of make-up whilst working at L'Oreals head office and stepped straight into the high end fashion arena. Siobhon has advised magazines such as In Style on the latest products and designed beauty stories for some of the most contemporary fashion magazines, including, PIG and Pony. Her client list ranges from Kim Catrall, through to Indian Vogue....
We are very excited indeed to say that Siobhon is half of the HMA and has worked closely with Sam Norman to design the HMA make-up courses to be modern in their approach using the most up to date make-up available and advised heavily on the HMA 12 step programme.
Sam Norman
Sam Norman, before studying make-up, worked behind the scenes both as a make-up artist booker and fashion photography studio manager. Sam brings invaluable business advice and practicality to the course, qualities unique to HMA. Her time as a make-up artist booker was priceless in terms of learning how to get make-up artists work, how to approach shoots, and compiling a professional portfolio. These subjects are studied in depth in the HMA Programme which is available almost exclusively to HMA graduates.
Sam went on to study and specialise in character and advertising make-up, exploring the quirkier end of the make-up spectrum. Today she is represented by The Lisa Pritchard Agency, a specialist in advertising assignments. Recent work has included designing hair and make-up for international star acrobats at the Vodafone VIP launch show in Qatar, the Middle East.

Natasha Lawes
MAKE-UP & HAIR DESIGNER, "In 1996 I began a HND Design / Fashion Styling course for Hair & Make-up at the London College of Fashion, where I then applied my Art skills to Hair, Fashion & Beauty Make-up, Body painting, tattoos & air brushing. Since 1998 I have been a Hair & Make-up Designer for numerous Television, Film, Production Companies, working on everything from Commercials to Film, from Music Promos to Fashion/Beauty/Advertising shoots. I have worked with a diverse range of people such as Director George A. Romero and Photographers Anderson & Low.
I was also Beauty Editor for Random Magazine and Viya Magazine for which I produced the still life & wrote for, as well as doing the beauty/editorial shoots. I have also designed /applied tattoos & made wigs for various shoots.
SPECIAL-FX, PROSTHETICS & TECH-EFFECT COSTUME DESIGNER: "After completing Special FX & Prosthetic courses, I later went on to design for Channel 4 & Discovery Channel. (I sculpted, made moulds for prosthetics & fell into the world of Creature Creations and Tech-Effect Costume. I create anything from giant gothic blackbird/Angel wings to dark fairy tale creatures, a 16th century Pompadour wig to blossoming flower headdresses,a single black eye to a full zombie make-up. I get regular commissions for mask making, such as my dog mask creations for a Radox commercial & the Sci-Fi Channel. Other examples of my Tech-Effect work is my ’Brintons Seasons Advertising Campaign’ where I created costumes & headdresses out of carpet, following in the footsteps of Vivienne Westwood who did the campaign over 10 years ago. Also popular are pieces like my gem-encrusted masks & skulls, my butterfly masks & antler headdresses. Many of my pieces have featured in such magazines as Teen Vogue, Italian Vogue & Tatler to name but a few. I also make bespoke pieces for artists such as 'Kylie Minogue', ‘Bat For lashes’, 'Ladyhawke', 'Little Boots' & ‘Goldfrapp’, so my pieces often make appearances in music magazines & on album covers."
I like the challenge of making a theatrical, elaborate piece that also has to be worn, is functional & is well made.
